General School  Rules

  1. Every student must carry her/his school diary to the campus every day and use it productively.
  2. Students who do not use the school's transport facilities should ensure that they arrive at the school at least 10 minutes before the start of the Morning Prayer.
  3. The warning bell rung 5 minutes before the start of the Assembly, is a signal for the students to get assembled in the Assembly Ground.
  4. Students should move from one classroom to another between periods without wasting time, in an orderly and quiet manner.
  5. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and in all school functions. Students who are not in proper uniform will not be allowed to enter their classrooms and parents will be called to the school to take their wards back home.
  6. No shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school building. Running in corridors is strictly prohibited.
  7. School Hours: The timing of school changes according to seasons.
  8. Bullying and the use of foul language are punishable offences, whether in or out of school.
  9. In the interest of safety, students are not allowed to bring any weapon or sharp instrument, such as blades, knives, paper-scalpels, etc, to school.
  10. Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs, or damage any school furniture, or write or draw anything on the walls, students are expected to treat the school facilities with pride and respect and should not in any way, willfully damage things belonging to others, Damage done, even by accident, should be reported at once to the school authorities, so that repairs can be promptly undertaken.
  11. Any students found guilty of having damaged any property in the school campus, or in the school bus, will have to pay the replacement cost, along with fines levied, if any, by the school authorities. Anyone who notices something damaged should kindly report the same to a teacher, even if he or she does not know who has done it.
  12. No book, other than text books or library books, magazine or other publication may be brought to the school without the class teacher's explicit permission.
  13. Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted.
  14. Mobile phone, Audio and Video CDS, computer games, are strictly banned in the school premises. Bringing these articles to school will lead to suspension/rustication and/or a heavy fine will be levied.
  15. In the interest of their own security, students are advised not to buy or receive any articles, gifts or foodstuffs from anyone at all an route.
  16. Gurukul students should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct outside the school premises, whether in or out of uniform. As an ambassador of the school, students must conduct themselves with decorum and ensure that they are always polite and well mannered.
  17. The School reserves the right to terminate the continuance of students with unsatisfactory progress in studies or whose conduct is a bad example for others.
  18. Exploding crackers during Diwali any other occasion in the school premises or in the school buses is strictly forbidden. Non-compliances with these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.
  19. Students must take every effort to be present for festivals and functions celebrated in the school.
  20. Girls are not allowed to put henna and nailpaint. They are not allowed to wear earrings or nose rings However, small studs are permitted only for ears.
  21. Girls with long hair must come in both single plait/divided plaits.
